Astrea Academy Sheffield has welcomed proposed changes for children’s education, outlined by the government.
The Department for Education’s Schools White Paper sets out plans for mainstream schools to receive extra funding to provide special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) support.
It also says that every school will draw up an “individual support plan” for any child with SEND, as their needs change over time.
